An Important Update: The Future of TheResumeApp
We have an important announcement to share with you — and we want to be upfront about what's changing and why.
The TheResumeApp web application will be sunset on February 28, 2026.
Thank You
First, we want to say a sincere thank you to every single person who has used TheResumeApp. Whether you signed up last week or you were one of our beta testers nearly a year ago, your support has meant the world to us. You took a chance on a new tool, gave us honest feedback, and helped shape what TheResumeApp has become. We don't take that for granted.
Why We're Making This Change
Over the past year, we've been paying close attention to how people use TheResumeApp — and the data tells a clear story. Mobile app usage has grown significantly, and the majority of our active users are building and managing their resumes on their phones and tablets.
At the same time, the feedback and feature requests we've received from the community have been overwhelmingly mobile-focused. People want a faster, more intuitive experience they can use on the go — during a commute, between meetings, or right before an interview.
After careful consideration, we've decided to deprecate the web app and go all-in on our iOS and Android mobile and tablet apps. This isn't a decision we made lightly, but we believe it's the right one for our users and for the future of TheResumeApp.
What's Coming Next
This pivot means we can pour all of our energy into making the mobile experience truly exceptional. Here's what you can look forward to:
- A completely redesigned UI — cleaner, more modern, and easier to navigate
- Faster performance — snappier load times and smoother interactions across the board
- A more responsive experience — optimized for every screen size, from phones to tablets
- Community-requested features — many of the features you've been asking for are already in development
We're genuinely excited about what's ahead.
This Is Because of You
We want to be clear: this decision is driven by your feedback. The community has spoken, and we're listening. Every feature request, every support message, every review — it all shaped this direction. You told us what you needed, and we're building it.
Our Mission Hasn't Changed
At the end of the day, our goal remains the same: to help people create resumes quicker, more accurately, and with the most relevant information possible. We're just focusing on the platform where we can deliver that experience best.
What to Do Before February 28
If you're currently using the web app, make sure to download the mobile app before the web version goes offline.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our support team.
Thank you again for being part of this journey. We're not going anywhere — we're just getting started on the next chapter. And we can't wait for you to see what's coming.
